Hey folks!
Li/fe is back with some clear and melodic tracks!
Some of you might know my drill by now, i've been around for like 5 years afterall!
I've gotten sort of rusty on my sound design, both KB wise and Lead wise.
And to be honest, i have made this on Apple-Earpods.
But that doesn't mean this is a sloppy at all.
I'd love it very much if you shared your thoughts around this mix, it's a preview without intro and midsection as for now.
Hey there moleqlarsuperstructure.
I think you totally hit a spot of discussion there man, and that's a good thing ofcourse!
In what matter is the bass out of time exactly?
What is it that needs to be tweaked?
How do i fix that? Moving the midi-notes will just cause it to be out of sync with the track, naturally.
I can't audibly tell that anything's out of time either!
Might it be the reverb of the percussion? it's a dominant element that always needs to be fine-tuned to the bass for everything to sit tightly!
I've already fixed the snare too by now btw, thanks for that It needed some beef around the 800Hz for sure!
So it's like the bass is coming out too slow after the kick has played actually?
That's odd!
I use Logic's native compressor for sidechain, always!
It's at very low attack so that might be the problem.
yeah i hate the logic comp for sidechainers…. go and check some third party comps for really better results!
now its a diffrent sidechainer but feels all the way to slow… i mean there is lot psy produced like that but believe me youll find better comps for that process and that will amaze you!

Their sidechainers are absolutely horrid for bass.
they work insanely well for FX and such, but man they need a better alternative for basslines.
So you think that might be the answer for a better rolling bassline?
And also, do you think looking up a better sidechain-plugin might enhance the illusion of the sound moving faster? cause that'd absolutely be something!
Wow man, the bass is really cool!! fat, powerful, but solid, and tight! really nice! and the melody when it breaks at the middle its amazing,! I really like it! its been a while, since I listened to a melodic track, and I really like it! Nice job!
And the fact that you did the mix without a set of good studio monitors is more impressive! respect!
Nice bro! keep rocking! peace!!

Thanks a lot man! All feedback means a lot to me, and by the by. Melodic Fullon is like, my love and my life.
I hope to be bringing out a bit more quality tracks in the future. And hopefully on better headgear too!! hahaha!!
Here's my final product btw!!
Suggest checking it out if you liked the example i posted!
Short Question: If i have someone master this track, what would happen? louder volume? etc etc.
(I have never ever had a track mastered and i've been doing this for like 5 years soon lol)

reminds me once when we talked about a collab for one track. haha. still wanna make one?
about mastering. i simply use a good limiter and push it to the drm6 area. im sure if you use a very nice comp before limiter you can get some punch Aswell. but for now i didn't find my comp for that process.

Haha! Yeah! Feels like that was yesterday since i've been so busy finishing senior high!
I'm still in yo! Even tho i jumped back from Pro X to pro 9 version of Logic, i'm practixally married to Sylenth1, it's my main synth and the lack of a 64bit version was killing me lol.
Also; so that's how you squish out some loudness and polish your tracks hm? I'm totally trying that later lol

well its hard to make your own master. i prefer to mix it as good as i can. and then simple go to the limit with the track
