hey missing-link... think of a osc as a generator, and lfo as a modulator... I think that replies your question.

lfo controls osc

when you have a desired osc, choose in the modulation matrix following setting:

modwheel -> 1.000 -> lfo1-4
lfo1-4 -> +-18 -> osc1-4 tune

in l1-4 (same space as you access mod matrix) you probably want to finetune the lfo that's modulating the osc

but don't get me wrong, I understood your initial question. If I'm not completely wrong, you can't set a lfo to behave like a osc. Maybe it works with another synthesis technique like additive synthese... I have no clue. There are synths that are older than I am HEHEHEHE

btw, I'd suggest to look for the solution at albino. Vanguard in my oppinion lacks a modulation matrix.

Get FM Spiralator for example and set lfo sync on. Same with albino, u set lfo to retrigger at the lfo panel. So u get lfos synced to a played note.            Signature

that's not what he wants. he wants the LFO speed to raise with the note frequency. talking about EYB... you can make a synth with that

U can do this with z3ta i think.

Set modulation matrix:

note -> lfo1 speed
lfo -> pitch            Signature

in the albino matrix section

LFO 1 -> Pitch Osc 1
Note played Exp -> LFO 1 speed

works better if the LFO is not synced

hope this helps...
