Vanguards layout has me confused about the LFO... I can't see how it links to anything or controls anything.
I can assume as much that each LFO is related to each oscillator, but I don't understand how to shape the LFO or to link it to anything, and why does it have PWMM and cutoff knobs.
Also, in the ENV section, where it has amp and cutoff ENVs, what do the last 3 knobs do..
Thanks. |

I know of at least one thread..search around.
Anyway, the speed knob is pretty obvious. The detune, pwm, and cut knobs control which parameter you're sending the LFO to. If you set the LFO speed and turn the cutoff knob all the way up, it will modulate the filter cutoff by pushing it up from its original position and back down, etc. If you turn the cutoff knob on the LFO down it will do the opposite (modulate the filter cut "downward", then back to the original position, etc.). Same thing for detune (modulates osc. pitch) and pwm.
It's just a weird way to make it semi modular..

Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

Oh, and the other knobs by the amp envelopes do the same thing. If you turn the cutoff knob (next to the ADSR) all the way up, it will turn it into a filter envelope.
Not the right way to explain it, but you get the point..

The PWM knob in lfo just work with some waveforms, the ones where it says pwn in the end and a few others i think the morph ones too, read the manual be sure, you should always read the manual of the synths.
