There is few videos on You Tube, but that is just some guy talking about his track in Logic, nothing special at all...

There isn't any tutorials for that genre and sincerely why should it be, it's become copy-paste already so don't want to sound rude, if you don't have anything new to add to that genre, don't copy others...they are doing just fine using almost the same things over and over again, really becoming like everything else, shame, I was really happy in the beginning....now it's like any other genre, same formulas and more and more artists every day...

Don't be afraid to experiment, make your own psy prog, there isn't such a thing to define psy prog song, I strongly disagree because that leads to pointless tracks of almost the same thing...

Wish you all the best and really bro, don't make tracks sounding like everyone else in the end of the day, it will be like everyone else

Hi!

1- The best thing is for you to ask more specific questions here, and you'll get you answers, (like how to make a bassline, howto make perc, howto make a 303 acid sound..)
2- Before asking any of the previous questions, after you know your question use the search here, because all of these have already been answered a couple of times.

There are Sonic Academy tutors "Get that sound psytrance".They actually do show how to synthesize many of the sounds used in progressive(all those bass sweeps, arpegiated sounds,303 stabs and 303 lines, and all that).

Those are very basic synthesis skills though that shown there, and all the sounds are synthesized in Sylenth1.Nothing besides the synthesizing the sounds, but it is enough to get you started.Look for it...

And above all,try to do stuff by yourself.I watched those series just to get some basic idea of synthesis, but all those sounds are used above and beyond to the point it just doesn't sound good.
