For sometime now I've been thinking of compiling some tracks of upcoming or established artists for a free compilation.. just for a little exposure. Now, I haven't really thought of a theme for this compilation nor have I given it a name.
I was hoping people who are interested in contributing (or even if you're not) could put down their ideas to give this thought a name. There are no boundaries in terms of style. It can be whatever you think sounds good to your ear and is your best work There is no criteria with regards to the BPM of the track.
As of now there is no person to do the artwork. It would be great if someone would like to come forward to do that. I personally know people who could but I'd rather see it coming from somebody from the forum.
Now before I get any flack about 'to many releases' and 'to many amateur releases'.. I'd just like to point out that this is something I'd like to see people ideate and have a little fun with. For now, I'm talking to some people who are amateurs at mastering. I have a positive feeling that it will fall into place so we won't get stuck anywhere.

One idea right now would be a compilation with mixed styles. I'm looking at a few morning tracks followed by tracks more on the dark full on style and then we could sum it up with a few night time tracks. 10 - 12 tracks should do the trick and perhaps make a nice story.

Thank you guys for the words of encouragement and sending in your stuff. Have received quite a few demos and some pretty interesting ones at that! A few people have come forward with samples of artwork. Looking good! Keep em coming!

good luck with this i really appreciate this kind of effort in order to promove some not so well known artists (i think this is the main goal).
