Presets can serve as a good starting point to create your own bass and to see what you are doing good or wrong. Especially is full on most basses you hear from proffessionals are almost identical. Why spend months to achive this sound when you are not going to do anything original in the first place?
If you have done something original, I agree that you shouldn't share it with others. Otherwise why not share it?

"one little question how u suppose to teach/learn if all of us here close to zero in sound production and equalizing part of sound design !! "

How can you say such a thing?

1st there are many artists here, you can't say they're close to zero in sound production

2nd there are many pro users here which probably become soon known artists

and 3rd what is the purpose of this forum then??

superglue, when i say that sound is a matter of taste i don't mean clarity/quality of the sounds- good sound it's something we all can hear.

"also i don't think that eqing and compression is such hard case to understand"

I agree with this but everyone have the rights to choose the tools he like better to learn with.

Hmm i believe my posting has been confusing to some of you.My idea of sharing eq presets
is to help everyone a bit on the way to make
fat basslines. In my early days i spended a lot of time finding a good bassline sounds but it was really difficult for me.now i allways have a bass eq preset on a vst synth while searching for nice basssound this way it´s much easier. And when you found your bassound you only have to make adjust your
eq settings a bit .
To me 'bassline eq presets' means the setttigns used on the _eq_ of the bassline, without the bassline itself:)
As input says "Good sound equalization will sound good everywhere-

even if it will be a bit weaker it will probably be enough to understand- beside when i will receive your presets i will sure change it a bit here and there to meet the acoustical changes,
regarding the ear- we all agree about what is a good sound so this is not even a issue "

Once again anyone who want´s to share eq presets ?

ever exist .

Peace.

I'm sorry, that's a 100% false statement...and makes no sense at all....

Just think about it, imagine you have a sound that is needing a boost on the 60hz, and some cut in the 400Hz, you have another sound that needs a cut in the 60hz but some boost in the 400Hz....How can you say a good eq will be good for both???

Eq is about "setting volumes for frequencies" so it will totally depend on the frequencies you've got, how can you say good eq is good for any sound?

Try and think a bit logically before saying those things...its all about logic...

Nag nag some people understand but some don´t.
well why not helping each other instead of proving "im right" ?
THere are some magic frequences which will
make a basssound stand out in a good way.
For the last time!!!!
Instead of making a eq to a bass from scratch
use a basic eq preset from the beginning and then adjust it after your needs this way you will save a lot of time

Input- how u can say that a good eq is good everywhere????

think before you talk man , it will cause less posts from ppl proving you another.

about sharing - dont think its good , lets everyone make kick and bass like he know it will be better for music.

Yeah, but if people are intrested they learn it some way or another... Presets for eq wont tell you much...

Fluo, and super glue are helping and they are right.....

Yes but not with a preset made for another bass sound..
If you understand basic sountheory you´l know that there is no magic frequencis for bassounds because all sounds dosnt sound the same. For example if you have a bass sound made of simple sine at 80hz how the hell do you boost those magic freqs. with an eq????? You cant!

How do you save time with presets when you have to adjust the settings? Why not do the adjusting right away without a preset?

Conny - eq on the bass isn't THAT important.
A well synthesized bass sound is much more important.
My own bass sounds sound ok without any eq on it. I didn't even use presets for the bass sounds - made them myself (except the last one, but modified so much it doesn't resemble the original anymore).
The eq is used to phatten it up, and make it work well in the mix together with kick and other sounds.
