Sharing eq presets will do you no good I'm afraid...there's no perfect eq solution for a bass....it will totally depend on how original bass sounds....

Well fluo and superglue- i'm not agree with this

you can easily share presets of everything- bass, lead, kick - whatever.
you just need to attach all the require parts,

if i share preset of let's say vb- i need to attach the

1- instrument settings
2- channel eq settings
3- channel effect settings

if you got it all- of course depends on your monitors and sound card- it will sound just the same.

so it's possible to share presets- the point is that is not that creative- but for learning purposes it's the easiest way.

regarding the notes- you can attach midi file

Good sound equalization will sound good everywhere-

even if it will be a bit weaker it will probably be enough to understand- beside when i will receive your presets i will sure change it a bit here and there to meet the acoustical changes,

regarding the ear- we all agree about what is a good sound so this is not even a issue,

sorry I misunderstood - to me 'bassline eq presets' means the setttigns used on the _eq_ of the bassline, without the bassline itself.

As soon as you throw in the bassline preset/audio file as well as the eq settings then it certainly is useful ... you can look at what the person did, and see if it sounds worse when you alter the eq, and why it sounds worse. Could be a useful learning tool.

This thread was not about sharing all your work! It was about "EQ" bass presets

Why don't I send you send just a whole track of mine in wav and you just change the name, saves all the trouble lol

Why don't you just take the time to make your own?

No wonder every artist sounds the same lately...

just to remind you

Topic: Lets share eq bass presets

i didn't said to copy audio files- i said we can attach the instrument settings- and i don't believe someone is that fool to use it just like this but if some beginners find it hard to tune good bassline or bassdrum- finished presets that sound good sure can help them,

you want to be original or make a copy that's your problem- i just offered help

personally i don't need any presets for anything as i can tune a good sound by myself- but a year ago or two- good bass preset could make my life easier

and another reminder,

This is for learning purposes, not for making my sound or i will make yours- anyway my post meant to say it's possible and not if this is good to do or not- everyone should choose his own tools and methods for making music,

peace,
