It may be a childrens toy when you don't know how to use it...every machine can be children toys when you have no idea about music productions. Same thing it is with software (Fl Studio for example...)

here is the catch of this story
offcourse the preformer has much more to offer then dj , unique solid original set , includ many new unr and special verions of his known music (some have 'set mix' that never realeses) and alot of tweak options with pioneer equip makes it vey diffrent from what you can buy on cds.
and that is the man who made all the music.. its not little thing at all , bringing his vibes along with own sounds can make huge diffrence.
so its not dj all can agree on that... ok.
but the terms 'producer set' / 'lively' etc. not accepted yet all over the world well..
so what to do in meenwhile untill all the world will understand and have standart term for it ..
btw many acts use cds (wither playback or mixing tracks) and add some synth sounds should we invent another term for this also ?

I say it IS a DJ set. Just because the DJ is playing all music they've written doesn't mean they're playing live - they're still DJing. As long as he's using CDs he's jockeying discs

No need to invent a new one, "Decks + FX" has been in use for many years all over the world. This also works for a DJ who uses "alot of tweak options with pioneer equip" - decks + FX, easy. Still not live though.

btw: I have a job (teacher), I own a mc505 (myself), I produce in FL (myself) and if you want a taste of my work: go to myspace.com/bandarlog or wait just a few more weeks, perhaps a month or two for the release of my full album.
