They put alot of hard work in the studio to be able to jump around on stage at least. I think the crowd likes it if the performers dancing around.

Also, as a performer if you could just press play and jump around you could wear pro earplugs and save your ears a little at least.

Still nice to see a "real live act" though

Whats really ugly are those hitting knobs which have no influence.. those pretended tweaking sessions... he doesn't.

their all comedians.... I'm talking about those faking to actually do something. Its real funny(cant take them siriously after their performance.... I rather you do a dj set with your own track than pretending to do something on a 1 hour audio file.

With live really its easy.. you can put fx sends ect... on your tracks, beats ... loops... its easy....

at least its like doing a live dj kind of set. thats tottaly acceptable.

I think its fun when an artist dances with the crowd. but one has got to spend some time at least mixing and not faking...

Ahhh...and the video posted .... I've seen a lot worse

do you think its so easy? i dont think so. psytrance has become so over-extremly perfect and crystal clear with very complex breaks that its nearly impossible to remix it live by just a few fx busses and rotating some sends and mixing a few parts of some tracks, which have been seperated "horizontaly".
what some top psytrance producers do is just looping, unlooping their parts after they have split their tracks "verticaly". there your have your breaks original edited but can choose the time when it shall hit. but thats even less live than the way above.
so you can also just spare it all and just mix your tracks like a dj, and i can understand that some people do this. some people are not able to dance until they eat 3 pills and the other half gives a shit on buying released just leeching it out of the internet. so where is the fake? above the stage or in front of it? or on both sites together. sorry for the flame - but i always feel to say something like that if someone is pointing on the other mans faults.

i agree that as an true artist i think you doesnt would feel satisfied with faking.

yea same, i think its a good idea to pre program everything so that u can leave it and it will play fine, but maybe in ableton or smthing and maybe change it slightly where u can, so that maybe if u get to drunk or sumthing hehehe u can just pretend to do stuffs

All we want is some realtime interaction with the music - an element of live musical performance. That, and honesty in advertising - don't call it 'live' when it's not. But laziness and greed are easier than honesty. Laughing when you see someone playing a fake live is probably the best option.
