ive just spoken to sandman on messenger, and says hes interested in doing a party in the UK (i hope he doesnt mind me posting this thread)
anyone else in the UK up for organising this?
apparently he hasnt played over since 98 cos its hard to find gigs here. lets remedy this, people!! |

It's not a problem of "finding a gig", you know...
There are plenty (actually A LOT) of parties every weekend in London and around... Juno are playing almost every weekend and also Parker and Zeebeedee, and the Restless Natives, and Raja and Simon and all the other British guys you all know...
I see some issues, imho:
a) Type of music - neither Sandman nor Green House Effect would do for a party (no offense Itzik). It is much too clubby, much to 'leisure' and non-compromising.. Maybe nice to hear at home, maybe in a lounge or pub, but definitely not for a party (and much less London parties which are much much much more serious then here).
b) Pricing - Again, no offense, but Itzik dear, your price is too high and, honestly, doesn't justify it. For the same money one can bring practically whoever he wants (and sometimes even more then one dj).
c) Put the two above together, and the result is that any party organizer who has to make this kind of decision will probably opt for someone else.

but you forgot something ...
we agreed for 1000sheks !!! + you will build me a web site (for the sababi)
NOW lets see if you will book any of the NEW "conncted" djs,artists and book em for that amount . . . .mmmmm
also you forgot that your "beautiful ppl's party" was terribl !!(or didnt happend..)
i drove till jerusalem erea to find that you didnt book a sound system and
basicaly you could tell me it b4 i got to the site ...
about my music :
GHE was amed to the house/shantyerea.... and i can count in
one hand how many times i played it parties ....
and SANDMAN well sory again noam but i think i'm the only musician from the 1st
(or2nd) generation that actually still do live gigs all others are DJs . . . so i cant imagine big name would have a problem getting good others music and play it ....
and please check the reviews around the globe about my 'leisure' music (dont ask here (israel).. hers its too conspiricy ...
if you ask your self where this post came from i'll answer ...
