for beautiful melodies try 1/4 notes, sounds like menog leads for example, u also can try arp ...will sound vibe tribe....personally i like 1/16 notes with noize synths for dark music 
ps. the names used as example is just to example to identify different kind of sounds... |

My internet computer is almost completely void of any music clips right now, but for articulation, I would say something like Carlos Santana playing guitar, rather than just playing notes, there's many small details added, the playing is much more expressive than simply playing the notes. This usually separates the good jazz musicians from the great ones, making an instrument tell a story and show emotion.
IMHO, Terranoise is a psytrance artist who does a good job of playing synths and samplers with good articulation and expression. |
