n if it is a rmx of deeply disturbed...cud someone tell me the trk details?? plz

it is a remix of deeply disturbed. I hadn't heard this one before too.. but that lead from 00:43 to 1:28 just sounds so good.           "Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."
Neo: "What truth?"
Spoon Boy: "There is no spoon."

To mix things up.

You can use phrasing like, 4 bars of 7/4 which add up to 28, which is the same as using 7 bars of 4. It will change your melodic structure there and make for some very interesting riffs that people won't be able to completely anticipate, but will stay within the structure of the 4/4 song.

After those 4 bars of 7/4 you can go back to writing melody in 4/4 and it will sound almost like a time resolution.

i dont get totally, 7/4 makes me confused

hey, if i m righting a track in one key, is it ok to it to have some riffs in other keys?

Yeah of course...

check my myspace, the melodies in "sweety" are different... and i think it works though its still just a baby and im thinking how to make a arrangement out of it... but the answer is yes you can find melodies that fits echother in different keys...

I agree with daark.

Arps are a great tool for sure. People can be lazy with them like many other features but that's not the arp's fault. Especially if you're making your own arps to use.

yes sure, but i think the best arp it's in piano roll, u can change the length of notes....arp is good to live, depend of the arp, recently i discovered the predator arp, and now i prefer to use that arp instead of piano roll...but there are many arp that sucks, too limited...

Wondering about using note lengths at 1/4 and 1/2 for leads. It brings a more anthem sound to my melodies, but tends to slow the pace down. Should I just stick to 8ths and 16ths notes?

Not a pattern but same idea.

http://www.guitarlessons4you.com/images/time-signatures/06-image6.jpg

Think about how you'd count out a standard 4/4 bar. One, two, three, four, one, two, three, four.

Well 7/4 you just count...One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one two, three, four, five, six, seven, and so on.
