its easy to install???
what happen to all the files that you have in tiger, ie: logic songs, live projects, soundbanks etc......

We got it at work on Friday, but I decided not to install it yet.
The general consensus here is to not install it due to it messing up a few apps, such as Mail, Wifinder, Terminal, the list went on a bit, we don't do music stuff here though.
They're saying it's slower at times, and maybe quicker at other times, some UI changes are a bit confusing.
So I'm going to take the advice and just wait, since Tiger works fine for me, and all my music stuff is working as it is now.
They were doing upgrades, not clean installs, btw, so I would also get someone's advice who did a clean install. |

Its on my machine, working nice so far. But no experiences with audio stuff since I do not use software to make music. |

it works fine here on macbook with garageband & zebra (i use this only to program sounds & ideas . but the best thing is the rockin timemachine.
with the new bootcamp drivers the fanmanagment in win xp seems better then before.

I installed it on my macbook. installed with no problems, most apps work pretty good (adobe lightroom and inquisitor suck in leopard ;( I use these two a lot.
ableton works, renoise works, audacity works, photoshop works too.

So far, no problems with Logic, Live and Reason. Easy to install, but takes a Loooong time. Almost an hour and a half on a MacbookPro with 4gb's of Ram...WTF!?! |

I didn't know there was Renoise for Mac. I might take a look at that. I wanna make some psy-chiptunes at some point. |

if i have bootcamp installed with xp sp2 on one partition and i replace the current osx 10.4.10 with leopard would it erase my xp partition

Bad Sector... no BootCamp doesn't delete any partitions, it boots to osX by default now... no more alt/option key blues.
I still wish I could use Live plug-ins ( miss x-y filter sweeps ) But, rewire doesn't allow it. Can use Sculpture and ES2 from Logic to get the same FX though. |

installed leopard .... doesnt delete or replace any data
