hmm but he ask for opinions, technical iz all part n part of it,. tuff shit mate, if i dint mix whilst writting ma tune i would get pissed off because it would sound like shit.
SO YES dedicate your ""spirit"" to the art of mixing.

I get u man, i allways have to do a rough mixi while creating as well,. I know that if things are sounding good technically it gives u a better feeling to continue the track...
I said it the way i said it, because i know alot of people who spend to much time getting the kick and bass sounding like the artist x or y while creating, it's a slow down in my opinion...
With me, happens that if i am to concentrated in technical stuff at the beginning of the song i tend to forget about the spirit and ideas..
When people with no musical background start writting music in the computer, it's normal to get the different stages of music production all mixed up.. isn't it ?
