Great intro, i like your structure, the bass has been to over processed, resulting in loss of dynamics.. other than that nb nb.

keep at it

my guess and experiance iz that i try to keep my bass as original sounding as possable, meaning i try to use less plugins on my bass channel as possable i only use side chanin compressor for bass and i use a deepslope between 250 & 500hz, the Cq1 eq by sonakalsis.
distortion will help bring back those lo mids if needed.
keep bass n kick as one unit (tune and freQ)
Bass and Kick i think are the most importaint fundamentle elements in a track, then everything else gotta be considered.

practice and experimenting makes perfect

i see , the only plugins im using on my bass are the cubase mod delay and the TBK2 Filter by sonalksis , think you could send me a preset for Cq1 for me to have a look at , i dont really know much about EQ n mastering, i would appreciate it.

by the way , if your wondering why i love oldskool so much its cos i think it has more charachter than modern stuff and i also think that it is the best way to express an emotion , whatever , its just great. cheers

It's sounding good to me, but it can sound better with practice.

Fuck the technical theory, learn it afterwards, just don't sacrifice the spirit over it!

It makes all sense to me to concentrate in creation while writting!
Then compress, tweak, whatever, but only when the idea is allready written.....

Get me?

Peace..
