(Commentary):
First of all i would like to say that i have enjoyed Lemurians for quite awhile. I watched their music progress. Crystal Mind was the begining and Lemurians blew me away with hypnotic beats and melodies so many sounds spinning around my head phones. Then i heard the new tracks of 2003 "Nautic" "Funky Spaceman" "Angels Dance" All of these tracks just made me anticipate "Secret Message" even more.

(Review):
-The album opens with "Robotix" a very progressive song, and the beat carries on pretty much throughout the song, kind of dark sounding. (Score):89% B+
-Track 2, "Input Flip" is kind of different it has a sample of this guy repeating "sound system" it kind of reminds me of funky spaceman in a way. The further into the song the more sounds are there to keep you busy, but the beat sticks. Overall the track could have been better but it's fine. (Score):76% C
-Track 3, "Time In Space" This track is very nice, starts out strong and keeps on pumping, slowly progressing than playing with the pan a bit, but excellent head nodding track. (Score):95% A
-Track 4, "Systematic" This track is one of the gems on this album, perfect beat and it doesn't get boring. The song is alive, it stops, it goes, it twists and turns. The bell sounding parts were a nice addition as well. (Score):97% A
-Track 5, "Phrygian" This song is another gem. It has a very Crystal Mind (2002) sound to it. When i hear this song it reminds me of the woods and getting... (Score):98%
-Track 6, "Take Off To The Cosmos" This is an awesome Floor Track, perfect for a rave or just a party and getting um, intoxicated too. The beat is powerful, easily the best track on the album has to be this song. (Score):100% A+
-Track 7, "Dub Drone" This song is tied for one of Lemurians best songs on the album in my opinion. Probably the shortest song on the album, short and to the point but one of the best. (Score):100% A+
-Track 8, "Unfold" hmm... probably the only song i haven't examined too closely, i'm hoping it will grow on me. It has a trippy begining, the beat starts off a winner. Then nearly 3 mins. in the beat goes on an all out force. Constantly adding new fx and sounds and samples, not that thats bad! (Score):94% A
-Track 9, "Set Level" The last and final exit from this awesome album. It starts out very hypnotic. Overall not much to say but another average A track. (Score):97% A

(Comments): I hope this review is helpful, if not i am very sorry, but i tried. Lemurians are excellent artists and i want them to be spoke of as much as possible, i can only hope They put out some more tracks on compilations because some of the comp. tracks are A+ material, possibly better then the songs on this album. This album was not a let down, but i just hoped i would hear more of a steady sound through out the songs, or maybe an eerie feeling like in Nautic. This album is an excellent example of evolution in Psytrance, deffinetly a step up from Crystal Mind. Thank You Lemurians & Shiva Space Technology.

i was about to make a review of this cd. as you already sayed they have evolved with there music. As we can remember the two good tracks on the Encoder CD of 2002, and this other track, Lemurians - Toycircus, very well done. To tell the true, the last cd crystal mind, it was kind of disapointed, i expected more, to say it in good words , but now, this cd is VERY good. just the way i wanted my month to be, this music for the background of this days. Keep the good work !

Yes, this cd are kicking some dust.. Very intressting album, i think it has some new infected tuch in it.. the sounds and the brakes.. really nice stuff, great basslines, pumping beats, not what i had expected, filled with strong cards and wicked melodies..

I love this album. I wasn't so into Lemurians before (I find the whole dark and hard thing a bit too mucho macho), but this album has a much lighter stuff than their previous material and is chockers full of groovy tunes, strange sounds and clever production tricks. While I like all the tunes, 'unfold' deserves special mention as being utterly killer. Nice one guys.

I've never liked Lemurians but this review had me intrigued... my initial reaction is quite favourable - it has a deep synthetic sound and great psychedelic production. Definate dark club appeal here... perhaps I will write more later but so far the singsong melodies in Phrygian have me hooked, and the spacebound intent in Take Off to the Cosmos and Time in Space are just what I'm looking for...
