I think, that `64 - `95 by Lemon Jelly is a fanatastic and very very creative album:

Agreed. I didn't like it much at first as it was a bit of a deviation from their other albums, but it really grew on me! Recommended           www.soundcloud.com/vonoom | www.vonoom.bandcamp.com | www.facebook.com/vonoom | www.flikflakfamily.com

Ya, it is very different ... different to everything I guess. But it is so fascinating how Lemn Jelly manages to work with so many expressions and styles in the different songs, sounding very authentic and maybe having a very ironic overall view on everything. Apart from that it is very psychedelic, entertaining, funny, adventurous.

Same experience as Vonoom. Took a couple of listens to gel for me. KY is still my favorite, but no question that 64-95 is excellent. I'm hoping they come out of retirement sometime soon. I'd love to hear some new material from them.

I never heard thos one. KY is still my favourite too - I was playing it a bit in the warm weather at the beginning of this year.

Lost Horizons I didn't like as much, but I think I need to revisit it. Just read some of the reviews on amazon.uk and got all excited about them again.

I think all three albums are very good. My personal preference for KY is due in part to it being my first impression of Lemon Jelly, and (I think) having a more consistent happy/chilled sound across the whole of the album (Nervous Tension track aside). Lost Horizons and 64-95 are both very good albums as well. The thing I like about 64-95 is that there's a lot of variation/experimentation in the album. Bottom line for me is that the Lemon Jelly duo are unquestionably talented and nothing they've turned out so far belies that. I'm glad you posted about LJ. It's prompted me to dust their albums off and enjoy them all again.
