So according to you Virava and also according to Uforica these 50-100 people that created all this trouble and damages are "valtoi" from the police?Come on this is becoming a joke accusing the police for every trouble that happens in free parties,demonstrations,poreies and the Politexnio.Free parties inside universities give the opportunity to various pseudoanarchists (because real anarchists have nothing to do with vandals) to create trouble,fight with the police and even steal.Please lets not spend our time on funny excuses.
By the way if the organisers and the 7-10 thousand people that were there cant protect their event and the party area from just 50-100 people that create all these troubles then everybody should stay home and leave free events aside.Unfortunately though the troublemakers are not just 50-100 people and i am not sure if anyone really cares to limit their actions.You dont need bodybuilders or mafia guys to protect such an event dear Uforica but you are obliged as an organiser to protect the festival,the people there and the area,what did the organisers did to protect all of the above?Obviously nothing i guess,please correct me if i am wrong.
And to answer your question Uforica the people who create problems in rock concerts are most of the time the very same people who created problems in this weekends event,see last years Eject festival for example.
We aggree in one thing though dear Uforica TRANCE IS ONE THING AND POLITICS IS ANOTHER but some people connect these two things for their own purposes and interests.Not me for sure.
Have you ever been to any of my events by the way dear Uforica?You speak about them like you have been to many though.
Oh and to answer your last question,i have as much sympathy for Xrysi Augi as i have for those Neopseudo Anarchists,thats none.Just because i dont like anarchists this doesnt mean that i support Xrysi Augi,its not one or the other,there are many other non extreme political solutions you know.
KAPSIS my position is that whoever sells drugs to other people (especially heroine and other hard drugs) should be hunged in Omonoia square to serve as an example for the rest who make money by killing other people.No tolerance to drugs and especially drug dealers.Ofcourse marihuana is not a hard drug but still it shouldnt be allowed to circulate free in my humble opinion.And please dont start saying that people make money out of selling marihuana,only the psilikatzides get involved with marihuana sales,the serious and dangerous drug dealers are into other stuff much more dangerous and much more profitable.
About Beastie Boys by the way the place was not full of police or bodyguards,thats why all these things happened,just some funny security people there but anyway thats a big story.If 100 of these people will come at my party then i will obviously have a problem to face them but when we are talking about an event organised by many people and with an attendance of 10.000 people then sorry if all these people cant limit these 100 then what to say.
Concerning my next moves sorry but like i said before i dont confuse trance with politics,what i do to improve the future and help in the making of a better society is done out of my music and party organising activities.
About my events by the way if something happens inside a club ofcourse i will be responsible for it and the authorities will look out for me just like it has happened in the past just to let you know.If someone dies in a university one day i dont know who is going to ask for answers to whom.You see in clubs there is no asylum and no anonymity.
And yes i am an aganaktismenos politis because i pay for those damages and i dont want to give my money just for some people to steal and create troubles.I pay for my Teve and i expect some medical treatment back and a pension after i retire,i pay for Ert through DEH bills so i expect free television back on the same basis i pay taxes for the improvement of the educational system in our country and i expect for the universities to be developed and used to educate people and not to turn into night clubs and get exploited by pseudo anarchists to have their fun and burn the place.
I doubt that all these people that destroyed the university have ever payed a single euro for anything on this country.

the problem is that there are a lot of topics in one
here we have legalization, mpaxala, events at universities, music, people who attend this kind of music etc
some people go there to support legalization, other to listen music, other to do mpaxala, other to take drugs
koutsi maria was also there
so some of you may have pure and good ideas and thoughts about legalization or about gathering in universities and listen music, have fun etc but if you make a feedback you ll see that the entire concept sucks
what legalization of cannabies? especially on trance area there were so many pitsirikia tiga sta ecstasy who they couldnt see in front of them, a lot of goats that i doubt that they have ever thought anything about just came to jump like goats they are with the kafriles that was playing all the time, plus mpaxala...
im just trying to say that oli i fasi itan enas axtarmas
of course there were a lot of people who came to spread their beliefs peacefull and have a good time but i dont think that they succeed anything neither for just themselfs (that maybe noone hear them but at least they made a good try) |

detox man, i didn t say it was organised by the police, but not also people with the beliefs of the festival.
if people (including organizers) could inhibit these incidents it would be nice, this is our target.

........Unfortunately if we start to speak about the "opinions" of all this television reality we will have to take part also in this "T.V. reality" (and we will not take part)...We feel sorry about the people living their lives closed in a t.v.box or collecting information, culture and feelings through their television....
Unfortunately also...if we have to speak about the "opinions" of the "club events organizers" of this forum we will end up to come in dialogue with some really far right ideology (akrodeksia ideologia).
Most of this things that they say this kind of people (and their "followers" that pay them and go to their parties happilly) is coming from the "businessman mentality" (capitalistc right existentialism that when starts to speak about social problems becoming naturaly far right).
Arguments and opinions like:
"we need more police, security and army cause we are stupid people that we will kill each other in the streets if we have some freedom" e.t.c /
or...
"the society is in troubles because of some idiot ravers, anarchists, junkies, lesbians, immigrants, gypsies, hippies...and I now for good what we have to make to them for to do not cause this troubles anymore"
or
"we have to hung people in the central square of our city for to solve the drug issue"
or...
"you will die in a rave party if you don't pay my rave party entrance"
or...
"keep low profile and you will have a comfortable life"
or
"I can make the deal with the police better so you have to pay me and MY culture"
or...
"my exploitation and my mafia security is not a danger for you but your freedom can put you in troubles if you express it"
or
"trance music is for people that they don't drink anything and they don't mix trance with spooky ideas that i hate",
or
" I am a white big man, clean and healthy and all others are blacks, dirty idiots fucked up from the drugs but anyway they pay at the entrance of my psychedelic business"
...That's enough!
...We will avoid coming in dialogue with all this COMPLETELY POLITICAL but COMPLETELY SICK AND STUPID IDEAS for now...
And for about all those "organizers" that they say "don't mix trance with politics" have in mind that THEIR IDEAS ARE ALSO POLITICAL BUT IS NEOLIBERAL RIGHT WING CAPITALISTIC IDEOLOGY....AND THEY BRING THIS IDEOLOGY TO THE TRANCE SCENE FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS! (this is the bigger problem of the psy-scene actually)!!!!!!!
So..stop to sell your "non political" bullshit to us...The people of the trance scene are not so stupid and "kamenoi" (burned) like you think they are (even if you make so much money from them by using the authoritarian state prohibitions and rave-phobia for to exploit and victimize their need to dance free at the open summer sky in the forest and puting them in stupid clubs for paying you!!!!!)
And of course many people talk about ideas and ideologies but very few talk about how they live
Of course anyone can say and do whatever....but...we would like to hear criticism from people that they have actually attended the " 4th LEGALIZE IT PROTESTIVAL AGAINST ALL PROHIBITIONS AND ALL ADDICTIONS" ( or from people that they've been at least ones in this festival in the last 4 years that is already happening)...All other people better wander why they lost those great moments...and continue thinking if they will come anyway next year! |

no u dont need to do all these cose u cant in
a university have security guards or pay cops, but when u host a festival with culture
why no do it at ipodromos, like 2 years ago were its safer, or find a place like malakasa open and free, some were out side athens which has nothing to do with bulidings so damages can happen.
cose we all know its not the 1st or last time this mite happen. its a curious question cose ure consept is great
what i saw was realy great orginized ,but in wrong places.just my opinion.

"Ippodromos" bought by millioner Latsis to make his own "cultural center" so no one will do anything there anymore (the state takes care for our culture together with the millioners like all this thousands years...You can go now to sleep in silence). "Malakasa area" that accomodates events is belonging to a millioner "concerts organizer" that he use the place for his own events...
To defend the right of the people to organize political, social, cultural and artistic open free public events in the universities as also to the city public space have to be a work of the underground movement and an effort of all of us...
Speaking about the "destructions", all students of the Geoponiki school that was there this 2 days said that it was only a building entrance broken and the entrance of a room with computers THAT NOT BEEN STOLEN OR SMASHED...........All students was saying that the ammount of money (100.000e!!!!!) that the president of the university was talking about during his tv sessions will go directly to his pocket cause the damages cost is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH LOW!(no one also saw any persons going away and carrying 100 computers!...come On...!)
Students from many different political organizations of TEI ATHINAS was speaking openly to newspapers about the same trick that their president did last year during their "katalipsi" (student movement squating). The president came to the television speaking about 100.000e damages in a building nothing at all smashed!!!!The efforts of the students to prove his trick even with photos kept silent by the newspapers cause "not enough proofs"...
Many people from the organization of the festival and many different friends was around the area of the fights trying make this 50 people calm down and trying to avoid worst damages
In the morning people from us went to the "smashed room" (mentioned by tv) and the computers was still there and was not smashed!!!...It was the glasses of the entrance of the building smashed and nothing more......In the next days we will try speaking more one to each other to clarify what happened but even for us is difficult to say anything 100% sure (that's why also you will never listen anything like this in the newspapers or tv that love to eliminate our existance by spreading lies and rumors and sell them to us as the one and only truth!!!!!!!!!...For sure the police, the state, the academic elit and the television chanells didn't want this 20.000 people existing in public defending peacefully their self-determination and freedom!...so they play THEIR GAME...We hope the totalitarianism to do not show its real face...cause as all times as also in modern europe the LIE becomes TRUTH according to your bank acount and your authority...ALL THIS 20.000 WONDERFULL PEOPLE THAT CAME TO THE FETIVAL IN ALL THIS 2 DAYS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SMASHING...(and in the future we will know if the problem is the smashing or just our existance!) |

And then…
For about the festival…
The " 4th LEGALIZE IT PROTESTIVAL AGAINST ALL PROHIBITIONS AND ALL ADDICTIONS" was a great effort of many different collectives and many cultural activists to bring thousands and thousands people together in a great celebration of self-determination and freedom.
More than 6000 people in the first day and about 15000 people in the second day attended the event. The three different stages gave to all of us the chance to share 2 nights with all the different cultures and music styles and breaking some pseudo-barriers and pseudo-identities like “rocker”, “trancer” , “technoman” , “reggaeman”, bouzoukiman” or whatever commercialized trend and style keep us away one to each other.
This was a proof of unity, love and ecstatic enthusiastic life!
100 underground musicians, producers, visual artists, d.j.s, bands and mc’s offered their work for free together with many cultural activists and proved to anyone in this society that the underground movement is the stronger local cultural creative community of our times (as all tv and radio is full of stupidity and the official State organized culture- “politismos” is boring and conservative reproduction of the underground concepts and productions) .
We have to thank all artists and people that participated in the creation of this open public autonomous ephemeral zone and we hope all the good vibes that came out from our co-existence there to become stronger and wiser in the future.

New things i learned for myself today from Void Network.
A)I am political standing on the far right ideology which means i am in favour of Monarchism or Fascism (although my father spend 2 years in jail for being a democrat),i am in favour of traditionalism and religion (although i am an agnostic and havent been to church for at least 15 years),i am in favour of Militarism (me who has claimed both in public and in private conversations that army is the biggest waste of time in ones life and should only be optional) and last but not least i am a nationalist and nativist supporter (with half my familly being immigrants to USA and Australia and half my friends being foreigners of all colours and races).
B)Because i organise parties i am into capitalistic right existentialism which is a sin (ofcourse other people that participate in Void Networks activities and also organise club parties with entrance fees are not sinners because they play for free and support Void Network something which i have also done in the past and was asked to do again but then i guess i was also an ok person).
C)Because i disagree with Void Networks political views i am a 'big white clean healthy man" who views the rest as black and dirty people.In a few words i am a racist just because i disagree with Void Networks political views and beliefs and i am not worthy to discuss with them.
Thanks for making me discover my real self Void Network,i am now going to shave my head and see The Birth Of A Nation on dvd before i fall to sleep.Really thanks for all.
Please though before going to sleep allow me to dedicate you a quote from Leonidas Xristakis someone which i hope you dont identify as a far right wing capitalistic pig like myself.

you pay also the f@@king million euros vilas of the politicians, and the millions they steal all the time mr "aganaktismene politi".
You pay taxes NOT for making this country better, if you believe that, you are permenantly in dream state, but for making some "Alogoskoufides" and "Rousopoulous" reacher...
From that point of view, those guys "who don't had ever payed taxes" are more clever than you are.

And also, many of those unger youth, are children of very poor families who they don't have other way to express their anger to all this situation, and they do those vandalisms...off course together are others who do those stupid things for "fun", for "style", or beacause their friends do it...

Btw, not all ppl in this country payed taxes. Lot of people here, lives under the poor limit,

Void Network never had the intention of making any personal argumentation or comentation or critisism to any specific person.
Our comments were directed to the clarification of the situation in Legalize it and our point of view answered to some ideas that was announced in public in this forum.
Any pesonal conflict is based in missunderstanding and it was not in our mind to describe or focus on any specific person, organizer, artist or booking manager.
