well but when i wanted to add this ATB mix ive made on soundclick.com the rules there clearly stated that if i anted to upload a mix i have to take permission from the artist first

No it is illegal. You can alter it anyway you want, but you can't share it with other people. Let's say I add some more hi hats and fx on a song and I release it on the net so that everybody can download it. How is this different from illegally downloading mp3's from Kazaa? |
