hey just want 2 start learning to use reason to try and mess around a but and make some psy. (i got no experience with making music). can someone recommend a good training book for reason, there are quite a few which is the best?

the propllerhead site has some very good tutorials. check them out. there is also very large community of reason users.

after finishing this book ... u can make a decent trk in reason for sure .. good luck ! |

any book about hardware is very usefull for reason too, cuz reason is built in such a way that it emulates working with hardware. |

I agree here. Once you learn how to construct some racks, you may want to use them to generate loops, wave files, whatever OR Rewire your work directly into Cubase. And the Redrum module is a good place to start learning how to sequence beats.
For example, you can build a rack of DR. Rex loop players and then audition many different loops at the tempo of your choosing. It gets fun when you learn how to automate your loops OR try opening your slices in a Redrum for other creative options.
I'm not cheerleading Reason, but I do think it has some merit but you have to tap into what the software can really do.
