I think you should connect the monitors using a couple of outs from the ones you have available (1/2, e.g). |

Monitors do not go into the headphones jack - Headphones go into the headphones jack!
Mate - Just choose 2 L/R outputs of your Layla. The outputs will go to the monitors.

Man you have thre one Red rca out and one White rca out right?
so red is left monitor conection white is right monitor conection or vice-versa.
So what you need is a cable to conect the sound card out conections into the in conections of the monitors.
hope this help you!! |

I've had this thing in my Delta:
Try to look in your sound card's control panel for a routing system, or maybe it's just muted.
I had to put the master out to out's 1 & 2 before it started to work.

What are the monitors you're using do they have power suply? If so you need to turn them on check also if they have volume and rise volume, just to do some troubleshooting.
Cos if the the out put 1 & 2 are jumping then is cos the sound is comming out of the sound card, if it doesn't have any routing stuff to do the problem is between the sound card and the monitors so check everything again.

Are you working from an audio program of some kind? Make sure your playback is made through the outs that go to the monitors.
And really, check in the console the outs aren't muted.

it was a routing error, from the card to the monitor
