I dont get understand well the conept of layers in songs, so i would appreciate if someone could explain me what exactly is a layer in a song, i imagine that are sounds or sequences underneath the main ones but how to make that???? |

You are pretty correct with your guess there. As to how to make an extra layer you have to ask yourself, what can I put in the song that will add that extra level of psychedelia, but not detract from your main sounds that carry the tune. Layering for me is used to accentuate whatever is going on at the time. It could be a pad, it could be an accompaning synth line, it could be some crazy sound effects that add to the mood of your track...

try to listen to (more closely) hallucinogen who in my opinion is unsurpassed in working with layers

Layers is one of the most important parts in music. We didn't invent it here in psy-trance.
Additional layer can be added with even a monophonyc instrument.
P.S. Hallucinogen is mostly all about layers (at least his earlier stuff, which I know).
