Hi !
Lately i have had some nice results layering
synths to get different sounds, i wonder if anyone of you have more knowledge about this or a site with info.Just so i can learn which instruments i should blend to get new good ones
My wish is to create "big" sounds which fills the spectrum range.Like having a few instruments playing but still make it sounds big and interesting.
Is there other ways to achieve this ?
Shouyld i use chorus and stereo widen effects ?
Best regards Conny |

hi there.,
well, you are right about chorus.,
all clasic 'big' synth sounds have chorus on them.,
but you asked about filling the spectrum.,
use bright sounds.,
and transpose them a bit.,
say, you use 4 layers.,
then you coud transpose one to -12
transpose another to +12
and detune one of the remaining two.,
also, try experimenting with relative volume of the layers., this will make everything sound different.,
but most importantly, experiment with different synths and sounds!
greets.,
