to get on topic, why cant you just filter/Eq the mid part more so it wont contain the low freqs that the sub holds?
sometimes you have to repeat a process, or use different tools..

it doesnt sound good mate thas why, seem to get better results layering them, and appling waves doubler on the mid bass. everything seems so clutterd when the leads come in fuk sake... BUT THAS ANOTHER ON TOPIC LOl |

If you actually went to the google link I provided you would see that there are a SHITLOAD of tutorials and forum posts and information on layering basses.. really wasn't trying to be a dick here.
