Hey Guys

For those of you who would be interested, I've uploaded a remix package of a track called Snowflake.
I made the tune as an ambient track - but I'd like to see any other suggestions you can come up with regardless of genre/style etc.

I will collect 5 remixes and release it as an ep in 2010.

The remix package contains some audiotracks + midi files.

Lauge - Whats the tempo of the track?
I tried tapping but im not sure..
mixmiesters Bpm analyzer didnt help me either!
I just like to start with the original tempo..
seems like "ReaktorSporMelodi" is the safest thing to calculate the tempo from, i got around 86bpm.. but nothing aligned in that tempo...

Would be interesting to hear from you guys that have made some remixes, what do you usually have in mind for preparations?
Do you want the original tempo and key of the track, or do you just experiment and chop things up so you can alter tempo and what not...

Hi Freeflow

The tempo should be 80 bpm...
As to the groundkey of the track, I put in midi files so you could get a sense from those

I'm happy to hear that you guys wanted to give it a try.

I really hope to hear an IDM mix or Drum N Bass mix a long with the ambient versions and trancy versions

I think I might try to make a dubby downtempo remix of this. I like to use a good amount of percussion in my downtempo stuff, so this should be interesting to see what I can do with an ambient tune.

I might take a crack at a dnb remix too.
