Hey ppl!

Ive got some really shitty latency when playing live in reason! when I activate a mixer channel it starts playing almost half a second too late!
Any1 knows how to fix this?

You need more RAM... Because your CPU is doing too much stuff... That should work.
I had the same problem with Cubase.

Not necessarily a memory problem.
Could be that you have some background applications working.
I have only explorer, systray (the litte yellow speaker) and internat (to change hebrew<->english).

I dont think its memory problems..I have 256M and cubase is running smoothly... The latency appears only when I play live with reason, when I play a sequenced track the timing is perfect! When I use a module the problem also dissappears-its only when I use the mouse pointer to controll the mixer!

A simple vibra 128! But soon to be replaced by a musicman of some kind! Culd the type of soundcard affect latency?

I had the same problem. Just go to Reason's preferences and increase the samples in the Output Latency slider.

let me know if it helps. :)

Yay. :-)

knew that'll do the trick. :)

it's wierd, isn't it? I mean.. You put LESS samples and you get MORE latency. ;)
