Hi!
I've been having this X-Station now for a week and been wondering about the big latencies I have to use in order to make the cracking go away.
Are the drivers really that bad that the latency needs to be set very high even with an empty project in order to make it work without crackling.
We have much less powerful machines in my school with M-Box2 soundcards and Oxygen 49-keyboards and the latencies are much lower with this setup than with X-Station. And I mean MUCH lower.
X-Station needs to be set up to latency much above 10ms to make it work and it makes playing with synths automations almost impossible with the controller.
Otherwisely I'm quite satisfied with that product but this big latecy really bugs me.
I'm even thinking of sending it back to the retailer because in my opinion it's no a working piece of equipment if it doesn't work with proper latencies which though can be adjusted to be low but just doesn't work with those.
