I got a new Dell Insipron 1420:

Configuration :
160 GB HDD
1 GB RAM
2 Megapixel Integrated Camera
DVD Writer
Bluetooth/Wifi and the other basic works.
Cost : 38,500 Rs --- I find that to be a big plus
Question : Is this config okay enuff to try and make some music on this machine. I am contemplating to upgrade to a 2 GB ram(also so that Vista runs smoother)
If yes, which tools could i use on this machine for music creation.

next time try making topic with same details as the post itself. otherwise it's confusing.
I didn't expect Dell laptop and music creation talk inside ;-)
All i can say is that there are IBM laptops and all the rest.
