i must say im very happy with mine though its a HP with Intel Centrino duo. No problems yet - knock on woods.
i just installed ASIOforALL and i got 13ms running stable with cubase sx 3, so its lots of fun  and later on ill get some kind of usb or firewire audiointerface for it...
thinking of Maudio Fast-trackPro, but im not sure yet. whats competing in that price range?
