Laos and Cambodia......super dooper places....

Laos;
Luang Prabang- more touristy by the day...but good architecture, waterfalls, charming small town...
Vang Vieng- touristy but packpacker, tubing is a must, loads of caves, waterfalls, lagoons....nice
North- Many tribal villages, def. the more interesting part...wild, many fascinating boat rides...opium trails etc
South- (1000 islands) this is what you call chilling out.....bungalow, hammock easy life....waterfalls special dolphins etc

Cambodia;
- Sinoukville- beach place....nice.....a little touristy but good seaside...good food....good nightlife...
- Angkor Wat....no words....go!
- Loads of undiscovered treks and boat rides.....to the east and west....in da jungle.....
- museum of torture and death camps (if you are up for it....but shocking!?)

two amazing places....tourist part is easy travelling....but some areas can be really hard......
dry season you use busses etc....wet season by boat...but dangerous and slow in any case....
i suggest renting bike in phom pehn to go to sinoukville and around....and similar in other places...
crossing from laos to cambodia is a real experience.....
ganja is found everywhere and super cheap....
parties best bet is in vang vieng.....some trance bars...mushrooms etc....

enjoy and go soon cos thailand style tourism is destroying the country at an impressive speed.

bholenath...

for any info...im right here....!

august and october are all monsoon time.....if you dont mind some rain...(can be very heavy sometimes) i think is one of the best times to go....people in these countries love the monsoon for obvious reasons of agriculture etc......the life ia a lot more traditional in that time.....
travels too can get a lot easier as the rivers fill up and navigation is easier and less dangerous.....roads are not good, boats are better.
but august will be full tourist while oct....even if the rains are even worst.....is few people for sure.

hope i was useful.....if you need/want more detailed info on activities, guesthouses, etc pm me....
