Lady in the water.
My favorite modern fairytale!
A perfect merge of reality and fantasy....!

actually I watched it and didnt liked it at all, if it wasnt because of the hot Chinese girl I would have turn it off, anyway i talked about it with a friend of mine and he mentioned that if I would have been familiar with the previous work of Mr Night Shyamalan I might have followed the movie, now I think would watched both "Unbreakable" and "the lady in the water again" i might finally get it now....

Shyamalan rocks

for me sixth sense & the village are personal fav.           the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!!

I think it's one of the most boring movies I've ever seen.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Actually Shyamalan is probably our generations most overated director.

6th Sense is a good movie but not a classic like many people claim it to be.

Signs,The Village and Lady In The Water are all flops and Unbreakable is so and so.

I cant understand the hype with him.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I think his strong point is that he goes deep in each character revealing the hiden personality in a way that you get attached with each character and you go with pesonal interest till the end.
(Like Steven King's works)
His has also the gift to transform the reality to fantasy at anytime smooth and easy.
Another strong point is that he is subversive and he always hides "aces" in his pocket before you think everything is over...

These are elements that are missing in the modern movies or that are rare to find.

I've just remembered this one, which I think is one of his best movies, IMHO, next to "Unbreakable":

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120510/
