Well, Red White & Boom was supposed to be this weekend but had to be called off due to difficulties with the venue. That would have been major.
There have been smaller Psytribe gatherings every 2 weeks at the Proud Bird and last week at a different place. (locals only)
Of course not to toot my own horn, but I believe that the Pulsar events count in this. We have our anniversary next Friday! 
We had Dunez several weeks ago, which although it was not a typical "psy gathering" it did have about 6 solid hours of psytrance in the morning.
We have Perception coming up July 23-24 w/ X-Noize, Major7, Maxx, and tons of locals; plus 2 other stages of music.
Then I'm putting together Atomic Fields II, August 20th-21st! No headliners, but a full spectrum of music!
Seems like it's not all bad to me.
I guess for you guys what's missing is something along the lines of PsyCircle/Xexify/Quantum Frog, which is a different sound admittedly. But I think you will be pleased to see at least some music in that realm of the spectrum at these upcoming gatherings.
