What about Tsantsa Rec? Never heard news infos after their second release.
IMO this one is(or was) the best label here, releasing really good stuff, high quality tracks.

They had distribution ($$) problems AFAIK and stopped to rethink their project. Said they would eventually comeback...
But now Bob is starting to release stuff on various labels (Plastik Park, soon Nanobeat), so maybe he hasn't got the time...
And Anders, the size of the scene hasn't yet translated into quality of (new) work, at least musicwise...

who is bob? ...its weird there are so many brazilian names like Bob, Joao Carlos, Neguinho, the last one I made up... hehehehehe didn't Tsantsa Rec have a web site ?

Bob is now producing some tracks with Pedrinho, more like progressive house stuff. His nickname, in fact, comes from Angeli´s character "Bob Cusp".
Tsantsa may come back someday in the future, but as Luiz Paulo said, not before they have the distribution problems solved. |
