There are threads on the meanings of the Artist's names in the forums. Well how about the labels? I am interested to know how it all came about, when did it start, how and why the particular name came about. Was it easy to choose the label name? Does it have a special meaning which we cant convey? I cant possibly list all, there are too many labels out there ! So "LABEL" Managers, let us know more about you and the label too besides the Artists!  |

Trancelucent was manipulated from the word Translucent which means:
Adjective:
1. Transmitting light but causing sufficient diffusion to prevent perception of distinct images.
2. Clear; lucid.
I was messing at the time with all kind of graphic art softwares

Domo means thank you in japanese, and in some pronunciation a home in Italian and some slovak languages.
We are trying to manage the label and all other activities we do, as a family with everything related to that, so its like a home to everyone involved, and we are mostly thankful for dealing and exposing the music we love to the broad crowd all over the world, so i think the name represents us quite nicely.

Well my new label (debut compilation release end of April) is named Exposure Records.
The name came to me from an old compilation by Digweed and Sasha named Northern Exposure.
I liked the name so i kept it
