Switzerland's Patrick Sonderegger aka La Baaz has consistently placed himself
on the cutting edge of electronic music, exporting deep and pulsating beats that
have made dance floors shake across the world since 2003. With recent releases
charting everywhere from Beatport to Digweeds Kiss 100, Patrick has continued his
success from previous project Paste, and firmly placed himself as a demiurgic player
in the progressive music scene.
The title track "Lagoa Azul"is a carefully crafted masterpiece that orbits in the sub
stratosphere of sound. Minimal melodic overtones wrap around a deep pulsating
bass lines, dark synths and intelligently placed FX to give Lagoa Azul and atmospheric
and driving beat.
This is followed by a stripped down "Lagoa Azul - Deep Water Mix." This minimal
rendition keeps the steady groove of the original, yet cranks it up a notch with a fatter
bassline.
The third episode of this trilogy, "Vertigo", is an erie journey of dark subtle melodies and throbbing bass.
Entrancing and intricate, it is sure to put the groove onto the dance floor.
