Kut ‘n’ Paste – Relapse (One Foot Groove)
Jaco König is the Cape Town electronic wizard otherwise known as Kut ‘n’ Paste. Relapse is a journey into a hard psychedelic war zone. The tracks will have you standing at attention and reading for battle. The battleground is your dance-floor and the enemy the ground beneath your feet. Don your Doc Martins and stomp the crap out of da earth. Here no note is out of place and the beats blast unrelentingly from the speakers with the velocity of hot bullets from a machine gun barrel. “Secret Society” is a frenetic track skilfully remixed by NoiseAnomalie (a partner in Aggitated). This is one FAST paced album that will have you reaching for the rafters and not give you one moment of rest. As mean, intense and fast paced the tracks are so too are they beautifully and ingeniously arranged. Kut ‘n’ Paste is an artist of quality and fineness and his work SHINES. Highly recommended.
