Boring? no
Subtle? yes

Dark, driving, evolving - lets your mind fill in the blanks? yes.

Too much psytrance these days is beat you over the head with as many fast/squelchy/over the top sounds as possible.

Krum is exactly what I've been looking for the past while out of Psy music.

Listening music and filling in the blanks yourself?? Hmm that's not music to me. Lifeless and dull, that's how I describe Krumelur. Whereas minimal like Massimo Vivona or Intact Instinct had some 'drive' to it, Krumelur is just plain lifeless music. Actually it sounds a lot like paced down dark psytrance in a way, with the difference that a Paranoize track can get pretty hefty. Krumelur just plods along. As I said, boring and lifeless. The album does nothing for me. And what's with the cover? A collage of comicbook artists work? Come on...           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Yes, that's what minimal music is about. Ritchie Hawtin often says that he likes to leave room in his music for the listener to contribute.           Row row row your boats gently down the stream; merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream.

YES --- exactly!!! The most emotional moment in a song can be a rest.
For example-- see Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
or krumelur - you decide           ein chadash tachat hashemesh. there is nothing new under the sun. --kohelet.

yeah, although the samples are known from other sources and the rest doesn't impress me much, this artist was very very successful in the last 2 minutes of that track "you decide" which, when played super loudly, is one of the best endings for a track imho...

i think this music is a little boring, for 2 min it works, but track after track in the same line, no thats just too much....

i remeber the good old days, Krumelur - Inspiration, thats a track to remember...

maybe this kind of foundation but with some more sounds, minimal if you want, but a surprise here and there to know that the music is alive would be nice...

this music is kind of druged out....

ever since hearing minimal animal.........i thought his music was different and very fresh sounding........when paramoral came out........i was surprised with the sound..........sounding more "urban" and i didnt initially really like some of the tracks...........

after hearing him play live out at Symbiosisgathering 2 weekends ago............. i think differently.........

he started out with some of that more "urban" akward sounds..........and for me he showed incredible patience............as he laid on more tracks it kept building and building..........and the sounds are extremely "innovative" very different...........

the set was incredible........one of the best sets of the festival.............i think his music is special......

anyway............thats my thoughts on Krumelur.........
