i would go for the adam but must consider a good amp for them
something like alesis or samson amps
krk are also good and active
alesis are good to but i think both of the former are best specialy adams
but i have to mention that alesis are well tested from lots of artists and they do the job very good
dont purchase before you listen!

Well my experience with Adam is ,. that they first get theire killer sound around the S series ..
tried some variants .. passive and active .. But first when i heard Adam .s.2.5 i was satisified ..
now im selling my soul to get those
