I'm rather dissapointed in Twisted for releasing this. Doesn't meet their standards imo. Might be that I change my opinion later on, thou at the moment that seems rather unlikely. I feel this album is lacking direction. There's quite nothing special to it. Ah well I never liked Koxbox anyways..

It's because you lack the fundamental background history between Kox Box and Simon Holtom. He was responsible for the signing of Kox Box to Blue Room Released and has always been a huge fan of Kox Box. So it was just a matter of time before they started working together again.

As I said earlier this release is indeed very dissapointing. What does kilarghh Fullon KIK's and basslines have to do with Kox Box? I guess everybody at one point sell their soul to the mighty Fullon Dollar sign

The only time quality is present on this release is when Ian is involved.          http://www.peopleagainstpeace.net/

good question!

wow! i surprise myself and have to agree
with hand a on this one. a dissapointing
album indeed from koxbox who until now have always been GROOVY and INNOVATING producers.
i come clean and tell you that i've only heard the samples on psyshop but they don't give much hope. the 1st half seems to be your average pumping fool-on and the second half more proggy stuff with hints of saikopod and koxbox from the past here and there. the album is very well produced though by the standards of today, no complaints there.

but where is the groove!?!

the album's name is accurate: u-turn.
they totally changed course with this album.
from my point of view they are heading in the wrong direction...

One week ago i listened to the samples and i got first eye-contact in love with Buffer Overdrive.... it's hot.
That little thing made me to give another chance to the whole cd, so being blinded by love i downloaded Crazy, Next stop and Acid drome expecting to increase my feeling, but overall it didn't: Acid Drome i just don't get it and Crazy, i got caught by the voices but remind me that "easy FULL-on from EuroTrance" don't you recognise those drums before the change?.
Finally Next stop is on the line of Buffer, less melodic, so no complaint.

Essential! It took some time, but now I cannot stop it..
In today's situation with fast trance, with almost no alternatives to suomi, dark psycore & pop trends - very special, atmospheric technoid layers, unique sound, no cheese, great "albumness" with development.. and still psy, btw.
Hats off to Frank'E & the crew, big respect. Just don't stop it, guys! For me the best Twisted since "Blumenkraft".
Fullon?? Are u kiddin'? %) Seems like u guys are takin' these anti-fullon wars too seriously =) Absolutely nothing in common here.. come on.

I don't get it. This album is plain boring. There's like one good track on it. I can't even listen to the rest of the tracks thru.. too f*cking boring.
