it's monophonic sound is phat - but I didn't like the controlling intereface. Better to use it with soundiver or the likes.           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Even being a monophonic synth, it really rocks. Its engine is totally suitable to sound design: 4 envelope generator + pitch EG + Amp EG; 4 LFOs; two multimode filter routable; 2 Osc + 1 sub-osc + noise generator + feedback; waveshaping section to modify the waveform and much much more...
The MOSS technology used in this synth was used in Z1 and MS2000 later. I think it has better TB303 sounds than my Supernova II (you
know, TB303 has LPF 18 dB and the SNII has it as well, and the Prophecy is 12 dB). Besides that, there are lot of amazing sounds that's able to come up with on this baby, i.e. atmospheric pads, beautiful strings, hard trance leads and excellent basses. And there are a lot of real-time controls in order to add expressivity to your sounds. I know Leftfield used it and Orbital had a Z1.
