i've been living in seoul for about a month now and i am starting to encounter those horrible lack-of-trance party withdrawals...
 there must be events happening around.. particularly in my neigborhood...?(hongdae/sinchon) does anyone know of anything in the near future? i also heard talk of something outdoor/beachy this summer... true? |

ya! psytrance in korea. 
2 festivals here during the month of september.
wonderland festival--> proper outdoor psytrance party in a lovely valley just outside of seoul.
anmyeondo festival--> electronic festival featuring a good dose of psytrance (thanks to lotus trance) on the sandy beaches of anmyeondo.
really really chill people -- great spirit and nice vibes! i'm so anxious to see how psytrance can develop here. i love this fresh excitement .. no cynical jaded party people here.

nice thata in korea is happen something im from costa rika and we have killa parties alot of nature goood vibe .. im now in taiwan now for a year frist i think never happen here but yes is happpen somo people make nice parys outdoor and is good the djs are good places etc .. im happay that in korea is happen something yes here is on the early stages .
i like to check korean partys jejejejeje anything whant to now of here (taiwan) just ask
boom!!!

i see that alien project is supposed to be coming to seoul on january 20th to garden in apgujeong. and infected mushroom in may...
not my taste in psytrance but these acts are definitely the way to get people hooked to the music.
by the way, does anyone know who is throwing these parties? can't figure it out. |

hi everyone, i've been browsing Isratrance for about 3 years but haven't posted before.
I currently live in South Africa but am heading over to South Korea at the end of February. would very much love to get any updates on the psy scene in Korea, i'm going to be there for 2 years and there is no ways i can go 2 years without any psytrance

so i did a bit of digging around on the net. apparently the korean psytrance scene has picked up a bit. no major outdoors it seems, but club Miroir (in Hongdae, Seoul i think) plays psytrance every weekend. Obeg and club Miro apparently have psytrance too.
Skazi, CPU, and Atomic Pulse have all played in Korean clubs before.
