i can't modulate e.g. the filter freq of an insert effekt of an instrument. i did the following:

- make a new instrument
- add an insert effekt to it (filter)

now how can i add a modulator?

- drag&drop an lfo to the filter doesn't work
- there's no modulation button in the filter (yes, for amp and source there are..)

could anybody help me? thanks alot! greetings!

Sure there's a modulation button for the filter. You just have to add the filter between the source and the amplifier! If you add it as an insert after the amplifier then it's not strictly part of the instrument, as shown by its different colour.

ah ok. i added the filter as a group insert fx now, and now there is modulation available.
