Sells for $500 (2k sheqel?)
I went ahead and got one for a replacement for my M-Audio Audiophile.
Does any one else here use this unit? I could only find one mention with a search.
Based on the features:
- Real-time monitoring
- DSP effects (the reverb is supposed to be excellent)
- Anti-Jitter built-in
It also comes with some interesting software called Assimilator Konnekt.
"Assimilator Konnekt is a native fingerprint EQ which is an extremely powerful equalization tool that “learns” the frequency curve of one piece of audio so it can be applied to another audio file – Ideal for analyzing and copying EQ curves of individual instruments, voices or reference mixes. It truly excels when applied to align the frequency response of different tracks recorded at different times compiled to appear on the same album."
I am looking forward to getting this unit to see if it is really that good.

Hey Cryptowave
I got this half year ago and for me they where very do the job-they got to preamp with excellent quality and headphone output with own gain -
the sound is amazing and the fx also
I didnt like the softwere-got alot of crushes.
after 3 months the card was stop working now i gor RME 9632 and I love it |

this soundcard is pretty good
first I had the system crashes too (alike Rani wrote) but than I discovered it was caused by cubase 3.1 with older 3.0 works all perfect |
