i m sure it s great but it s too expensive compared to Ni stuff imo, i can get the full Komplete 8 for the same price.
damn halion 4 look so dope, great features and the synth engine is probably high quality if it comes from a updated hypersonic..would not be surprised in term of quality/sound i like it better than ni stuff. |

komplete 8 ultimate is a huge package!
but I only use massive.. eventually traktor... 
anyone tried the piano, guitar and drum stuff included? do they sound good?

get both,they are different  .komplete you get kontakt and lot of samples , massive,reaktor,guitar rig.. spectrasonic you get high quality synth and rompler, you get more for your money with komplete but it dont replace omnisphere |

reaktor sound very different ,for me it s the closest thing to the early va hardware sound (at least it remind me the first synths i used,not clean it s digital it s rough,when i was all hardwre and saying all plugs sound like shit,reaktor was the only one to have something hardwarish with the depth in the sound for me and my mates,was long long time ago now i dont find the envelops filters osc hight quality but it still have the depth and his "own caractere"..) it can be well suited for psytrance imo ,omisphere sound more polished and is also well suited.. it s matter of taste one don't replace the other. |

For me Reaktor it's a unique workplace.Like really one of it's kind.I don't know if to call it a synth.My prob is only I just don't have any clue maybe 5% but that's one of my plans in the near future to learn it and eventually buy it at some point.
I play sometimes with it and am always thrilled but that's the only one where I load a preset and tweak it  I always like to make all from a to z myself but Reaktor is a mystery to me so far.
Anyone got a link for any kind of usefull tutorial..? I don't have the time to read the manual at this days (but later I will) and don't own it so far either, but I'm very interesting in this.

i have build a few synths on reaktor but imo it dont really woth it except if you want to do something special , if you have a original idea in mind for example...
for a usual synth better use the creation of guys like stephen v who use reaktor since years and master it, i lost times trying to do this and then realize these guys are very advanced users and at the top of what you can do with reaktor.

btw about reaktor you can find it secondhand for not much (around 100 dollars for the download version) it s maybe the best money i have spent on audio.. there is so much amazing ensemble in the librarie, it s like buying 200 synths at that price.. if you like reaktor sound, and abstract music it s must have, there is also lot of cool effect ,sequencer,samplers.. you won t get out of your studio of the winter if you get deep into it lol |
