hi!
less then a year ago there were first release of moscow-based band koan. both participants of the project - daniel roeth è vladimir sedov (they also are vacuum stalkers) are in great creative conditions so they just finished work with the new album.
they continue to explore the space of ethnic chill music with their original and full of authentic atmosphere style. as always you can download it for free at http://www.otium.ru

it is very nice to see when project developing its sound ideas and even style on your own eyes. i was watchin koan's way of building their unique music since the very begining. and im happy that now i can say that all the wide range of chill-out music was used by them. from the first release talking stones (2005) which style was definite as ethnic lounge they moved through progressive solid sound of when invisible becomes visible ep (2005) and a track for a great compilation v.a. floating point vol. 3 (iboga, 2006) to real psychedelic ambient of this release. 113 min. of 28 tracks mixed in one breathtaking mystery story... magic and odd. when deep dark ambient changes to uplifting melodies with whole unbreakable special taste... zen-adventure in the mystic places of latin and south america in the eyes of two russian guys. just download... you will enjoy this!

Wow - really nice (may i say dark) music .... very easy flowing and totally meditative music. It sorta put in a very slow, relaxed yet focussed state (Am i making any sense ??) - listen to it - you will understand what I mean. |

Great release! I've only heard it once through so I cant say much yet, but the sounds from the 50th minute onwards are amazing. Love the nature samples used. Nice lucid ending too.

Amazing ambient tracks inside this release 
My own taste, still dont like to much the more rythmic tracks,, cause the sound prod (to electronic), but i reckon Koan have a personal sound & that : is very good.
