Just bought it yesterday from bandcamp. It is very good, I have to agree.
I have tried to like Koan in the past, but for some reason they didn't quite hit the spot for me - I'm looking at you Two Moon Butterflies. It seemed a little cheesy at times, even when I have revisited it. I like some of the tracks but not all of them.
Anyway, I think Argonautica avoids most of the cheesiness that I felt in Two Moon Butterflies. I'll have a more in depth listen over the next week.

I agree with you Schofield. Koan just doesn't do it for me. I think you're spot on with the cheesyness, even in this album. It's something with the overall sound, I think. Like the sounds used are just too unpolished and generic.
Not an album for me...
words People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey... stuff.
