Due to various reasons i'm workin mostly in headphones for last two years. I'm using cheap AKG K-141 monitor headphones.

Before, I always checked my tracks on monitor speakers and made big corrections.

Now i change almost nothing, the sound produced in headphones appears to sound on monitors as expected.

I can't for the life of me mix on my Sennheiser HD-25s. Everything just sounds weird, I need monitors.
I wish I could cause then it would mean that I would get rid of the shite acoustics my current room, has.

^^Likewise, can't get anywhere near to good on my headphones, but it'd be good if i could cos my room also has appalling acoustics. ahhhh well           Projection makes perception. The world is what you gave it, nothing more than that. It is a witness to your state of mind, the outside picture of an inward condition. As a man thinketh, so does he perceive- Anonymous

There is a pretty big difference between the HD-25 and lets say AKG K240.... The first one is hifi-boomy, but the second one is way more flat and natural...

Ive used my Technics RP-DJ1210 a long time now, and getting to know them pretty well...
Problem with headphones is that every sound appears "in your face", when in reality they might be placed pretty far back in the mix. Also elements may seem obnoxiously loud when just sitting right

But I forgot to say this:
Im totally a fan of "less is more". Buy some excellent gear, and learn yourself to use it rather than just buying "everything"...

I can mix on either and feel pretty comfortable using both as a reference every step of the way, but I spend a ton of time listening with my headphones every day too.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

I try and limit headphone work as it isn't too good for your hearing.

80% of my production is done on my akg k240's and that for years now. But still, after these years, it seems impossible to accurately mix kicks in headphones. Everything else is ok but kicks... they're just too hard to mix on headphones for me.           http://www.soundcloud.com/bandarlog

Read an interview with Silent Horror today who spends 8 months a year on a ship as marine biologist and uses his headphones to make music most of the time. His production is very good!!!

its somehow an integral and beautiful image for a person to take care of family and keep the passion on music and making tunes, i really like and respect that, best wishes for all trance-fathers and their families, here and everywhere and keep on
