Greetings to promoters & all the people out there in Brazil!
My name is Make, aka DJ Macke Matic from Kiwa and I will be coming to Brazil on february 7th. First to Rio and from there to Florianopolis...
I am looking for gigs in any time between feb 7th and march 16th.
I don't know how well our music is known or represented over there, but here's a little bit about me:
I've played in Finland since -97, and in Israel, Russia, Estonia & various countries in Europe like Germany and Greece in the past years. We've released 2 albums so far under Kiwa on the finnish label Surreal Audio and currently finishing our 3rd LP. We've also had exposure on some more well known labels such as Liquid Sound Design (Dragonfly records) and Digital Structures.
Kiwa ranges from breakbeat to funky & progressive trance. In my DJ sets I like to mix groovy, powerful & tribalic dance floor stompers with atmospheric uplifting music. Depending on the crowd of course...

Thanks, mate. Hope so too =) ... less than a month to go. Really looking forward to see Brazil!
I've been talking to Tommi (from Highpersonic Whomen & Haltya) and if the opportunity comes along, he'd also be happy to play a Kiwa vs. Highpersonic gig out there... sounded like a good idea to me:)

Unfortunelly in Rio people don't know and don't wanna know about non-israeli or even to non-comercial trance.

Yes, I heard about the way it goes down there...
our new tracks aren't excactly Israeli but fully aimed to the dance floor with occasionally even some more "commercial" elements (omg.. hope i didn't upset anyone:) So I have a suspicion they could work even in Rio. .. if somebody wants to book me there or not is a different story alltogether:)
