there's that term again! Lads, forgive my ignorance but WTF is Hi-tech. I've heard stuff like Vaeya & Pick referred to by that name, a lot of "Twilight trance" as well and even some crazy nosebleed 3000bpm stuff.
So what the hell is it? Serious question too.

Hi-Tech afaik is a form of psytrance that relies on the use of aggressive distorted leads. Sometimes very melodic but not in the same way than Full On.

Best example of HiTech Psy are:

Bliss, Painkiller, Mekkanikka, Punchline, Orca, Alienn, A-Mush, Absloum, Toxic, Speedball, Kophat, KoxBox, Brainwash...

And yes the boundarie between this and Twilight Psy is blurry wouldn't know how to explain better but with the lead timbres they use.

Hitech is also lots of trickery, uses a lot of mechanical sounds and fills.

I'd hardly call what is released on Osom Music as dark pay, high speed yes but that's it.

For me hi-tech is the kind of synthetic robotic/electrical sounds like what KDD uses.

Aggressive?? I find it quite funny what people in this scene call aggressive.

It's seems to be if it is high speed and full of energy it's aggressive. Having listened to many aggressive genres of music & spent time invovled within the extreme metal/grindcore scene you'd know that it's actually the slower and lower sounds that carry more aggression than fast ones.

I found the 3D Vision & South African twilight styles much aggressive than any of the so called "dark"

And BTW those pictures are extremely offensive.           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

humans are aggressive, never music is!

funny, i ask myself if slipknot also thinks they make satanic music like lots of their fans do. sure they use symbols and stuff, but at the end its our mind not the music. the music is just fast and different. art releasing emotion as a ventile or as a message...

disharmony at the end is harmony!

music is harmony and harmony is the secret of the universe. anyways, again our mind which puzzles the puzzle....

since we split music, we separate ourselves, thus we should build up more walls! fight for exactly that what we tried to left....

sorry for offtopic, but thats just reflecting here whats happening in the scene and sure the reason why many out there dont come in here since a long.... funny how the topic question evloved into this....

cheers

Back on topic pls
Leave the Hi-Tech word aside.
For the user asking the question, it's related with Osom music.
Don't turn this in a discussion concerning how u call a 'subgenre'.
