Kashyyyk is rocks tooo!
Grapes of Wrath, Syntax Error, Penta, Ocelot, Osom, Energy Loop are some more to check out.
Waves from outer space - KDD: is prety different from KDD @ waves from inner space, but very very good.

but to tell you the truth
there aren't many KDDD's and Psychovsky's in the genre
they are pretty much unique at what they do

Wizack Twizack has some really great mushroomy trip style tracks.
The Explorer off of the new Dead End CD is most excellent and has some great Terence McKenna samples in it.
The Mind of a Lunatic Rmx from VA - Voice of Sauron is a great Albert Hofmann tribute track.

a tricky question as the sounds have evolved a lot over the years...
if you like older psykovsky & osom tracks check out the pre 2004 releases, especially the zen VAs on :

Debut as an album is very lonely...
There was some russian neo goa somewhere in between, Zolod perfected it with his many projects... CPC's definitely kept that going.
The newer styles meet and greet a lot of sounds similar to furious, cosmo, highko, matutero, electrypnose, phobos azazael, adi, technical hitch, sonik scissor... & more
artists' growth rate within this spectrum has been incredible! you can trust kindzadza and psykovsky to be on top of the game though... live sets are oooooosooawesome!

i would hate all the rest after "the debut" everyday....but i guess it can substitute the 10 hours of meditation a day....

Your right man. Too much good music constantly automatically raises the bar. Its what everyone ought to focus on (quality music in general) really, and since not many do, we have have tonnes of sub par labels and artists churning out music that is so easily liked by all. Not good for this genre's standards for sure. "Good music" such as Debut IMO is timeless, and i doubt will ever stop playing in this side of town And about the "too much stimulation", well i think Debut, even though intense, caters to a variety of moods and i have become rather used to it, so works at all times now
And which new Aerofurious track is this brother? Name please! Not sure if i gave it a listen. Last one i heard i think was on the Indigo Recs. compilation - Namaste to Russia 2

Totally bro Once your exposed to the spark of genius in it, your hooked. Wishful Sinful is a beautiful track for sure, but Compos Mentis and Indigo Child were the ones that struck the soul chord in me. Every individual track is incredible in fact and as a whole you know what to expect.
Im not certain what sound to expect from the Da Budet album but im sure it will be very intelligent either way.

PS - Kindzadza had it too in 2004 i thought. Tracks on DVR - Hasta Las Patillas etc. were magic, some of the most insane mindscapes i have travelled through to date. I don't quite enjoy the present sound though, just a matter of personal taste i guess(have to give it to him for the production quality though). I do however know a lot of people who do enjoy present day Kzz... |
